It is your responsibility to disclose criminal convictions, even if they are spent or abroad - this includes fines, cautions, reprimands, warnings or bind-overs. We are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Providing false information is an offence and could result in the application being rejected, or summary dismissal if the applicant has been selected and referral to the police and/or the DBS. NOTE: Any criminal offences committed in any country will be in line with the law as applicable in England & Wales, not the law in their country of origin or where you have been convicted. Ex-offenders with spent conviction will be considered on an individual basis and the nature of their offence will be taken into account in the recruitment decision.
